We recently played at Lewtrenchard Manor for the wedding of Paul and Abbey.
We’ve played at a few Wedding Fayres here but this was our first wedding!
We played behind the guests chairs (see photograph) in this room upstairs overlooking a courtyard. The acoustics here are excellent. The bride and groom chose the traditional entrance and exit music and their special chosen request in advance was “You Raise Me Up” by Westlife.
We then played downstairs for the drinks reception and photos. Again the acoustics were great so while the wedding party wondered in and out getting drinks, having photos taken and moving around chatting, we were placed at the bottom of the staircase in the hallway.
Thanks to Paul and Abbey for booking us. Thanks also to Natalie for answering our many questions about the history of the house too!
Lewtrenchard Manor is based in Okehampton and is a wonderful venue for anyone considering having a wedding in this location. We hope to play here again soon! 🙂
