It was wonderful to play at a Peyhembury Church wedding recently. We played for the bride’s entrance and during the signing of the register.
John the organist played as the guests arrived, the bride and groom’s exit and for the two hymns during the ceremony. Guests commented how well the service went and how good it was to have a mix of music from traditional organ music to contemporary flute and guitar music.
We met Jenny and Matt at The Deer Park Hotel when we played there for a Wedding Fair. They liked what they saw and heard and they had some requests for their wedding which were not in our repertoire, so we arranged the music to play during their wedding ceremony.
Peyhembury is a beautiful 13th century Church set in the tiny village of Peyhembury.
We even got the chance to see the bell ringers before and after the wedding!
We would like to congratulate Jenny and Matt and wish you all the best in your future life together.
Thanks also to Babs Leach and the Reverend Cate Edwards for looking after us!
We look forward to playing here again soon! 🙂
