We recently played for a wedding at Breadsall Priory in Derby. This wedding had been booked a year in advance by the bride’s Mother and Father.
As the wedding date got nearer, we were informed that the bride’s Father was himself an accomplished musician. Having been in the music teaching profession for over forty years and now in his retirement was a jazz piano wedding musician! He understood how important the role music plays for a wedding, so he and his wife decided to search online for wedding musicians. They particularly wanted a flautest and booked us after finding our website. They said they booked us because besides hearing our audio clips and seeing our videos, they thought from our photos that we looked like nice people!
Well the wedding went very well though we were unusually both nervous…not because of the wedding as we play for many weddings, but because we felt like it was an exam! That we might be judged how well we played by the bride’s Father!
We’re pleased to say the bride, groom, parents and guests were very pleased with our performance. They told us how much they enjoyed our music and loved listening to the wide variety of songs we played covering many decades so there was something for everyone to enjoy. The bride’s Father said we played brilliantly to us which really made our day!
We would like to thank everyone who we met on that day – thank you very much! 🙂
Here’s our latest words of thanks from that day:
