We get asked many questions from bride and grooms before they book us.


Here are the main ones and their answers!

How do we book you and how much do you charge?

Firstly, we check we are available on your wedding date.
Then get back to you with a quote.

Can you give us a quote for playing during the Civil Ceremony and Drinks Reception?

We can provide a quote for the Civil Ceremony and Drinks Reception. We can also provide another quote for playing during the Civil Ceremony, Drinks Reception and Wedding Breakfast too.

Do you charge extra for travelling longer distances?

The quotes we give are inclusive of travel expenses. We like to keep our travelling expenses to a minimum and be as competitive as possible.

Do you charge per hour or a fixed fee?

We charge a fixed fee.

What styles of music do you play?

Our repertoire includes music from classical to contemporary, pop songs to light jazz, ballads to up tempo music, including show numbers, film and TV music.

We would like you to play a special piece of music – we have a request from an album, or from a film. Can you play it at our wedding ceremony?

We are happy to include one or two of your requests given a few weeks notice. We check the piece is suitable for the flute and guitar, then we arrange it for our instruments and learn it so it is flawless for your wedding.

Please Note … Most civil wedding ceremonies are not allowed music of religious content, for example: Ave Maria, otherwise most most secular music is suitable.

Can you play outside for the Drinks Reception while the photos are taken or can you move into another room – if booked to play for the Wedding Breakfast too?

We are happy to move into another room or to play outside while the photos are being taken which is usually during the Drinks Reception. We have an extension lead which we use for this purpose.

Do we meet up before our wedding day to discuss or hear you play, or do you need to check the venue before hand?

We discuss the pieces you would like us to play, by email or phone. There are audio sound files and videos on our website for you to hear us and occasionally we play at Wedding Fayres which we publicise on our Facebook Page so prospective bridal couples can hear us play live and ask us questions face to face too! We always allow plenty of time to get to the venue and this gives us time to check any rooms or outside areas where we are to set up.

How long do you hold a quote for us?

We provisionally hold the quote and reserve the date for you up to fourteen days.

How do we go about booking you?

Once you are happy with our quote and wish to proceed, we send you an Agreement Form to sign and return along with a small deposit of £50.00 which confirms the date is booked for you. (This will later be taken off the balance).

What happens next?

We stay in contact and nearer the date we confirm your wedding plans are going smoothly and discuss the music in more detail. The balance (less the deposit) is then paid. Now you just relax and enjoy the day while we get to work and perform and play the music of your choice.
