Imagine the scene, your loved one is getting married! Maybe it’s your niece, nephew, cousin, sister, brother, friend or more importantly your own son or daughter! The venue has been chosen be that in a Church, Registry Office, Hotel or Stately Home. The bride looks gorgeous in her wedding dress the groom is waiting patently with his best man both looking splendid, all the guests are all seated waiting for the bride entrance… but what about the music - did anyone thing of that?
Music plays such a big roll in our everyday lives that unfortunately, on one of the most special days, it can be such a let down…a CD machine playing as you walk down the aisle.
Music is a universal language that everyone understands, it helps to create many moods and is especially needed at the most important part of our lives. Weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, christenings and funerals. Music is sometimes the last thing people think of when they are actually getting married! It is usually left to a staff or family member to put the CD track on the machine at the correct point and to fade it out when the Bride reaches her Groom - no atmosphere at all.
Live Music for Weddings
Some people might book live musicians to play at someone’s wedding as part of the band in the evening instead of the DJ. What about during the most important part of the wedding? The actually wedding itself? The mood of a wedding can be filled with excitement, laughter, anticipation and nerves or it can be hinged with a tint of sadness as maybe some friends or loved ones couldn’t see you get married. These moods are a very strong emotion and make that part of the day a real day to remember especially when you book live musicians.
